About Katie:
∗ Katie is one of seven puppies that made up Radiant Pugs “Irish Litter”.(see their baby picture below)
∗ She loves lying in the sun; tolerates getting her nails done; is first in line for getting a bath; and spends most evenings sleeping cuddled up with her “dad” Jim in front of the TV.
∗ One of Katie’s biggest days in the show ring was in 2008 when, on day one of the Gavilan Kennel Club’s All-Breed Shows, she took “Winners Bitch”, “Best of Winners”, and “Best Bred by Exhibitor”. She followed that up by taking “Bred by Exhibitor - Group One” and finished the day by being awarded “Best Bred by Exhibitor In Show”.(see picture below)
∗ On the following day, “Katie” was awarded “Winners Bitch”, “Best of Winners”, and “Best of Opposite Sex” to her older brother “Homer” who took Best of Breed and went on to be awarded Toy Group One
∗ Katie has always loved being in the show ring and now, as a veteran, has won “Best Veteran Bitch” several times in the NCPC Annual Specialty shows. (see picture below)
