About the Homer:
* Homer is one of four boys that were born in September to their mother "Summer," so naturally the litter became "The Boys of Summer" and were given baseball names (see their baby picture). Anyone who is a long time SF Giants fan knows that the famous call of the announcer whenever a home run was hit was "You can tell it bye-bye baby," therefore, he became "Homer."
* Homer loves to watch sports on TV either on the floor or resting on Jim's head in their over-stuffed chair (the following pictures).
* He's a gentle, loving soul whose tail never stops wagging -- even after he had a mass cell tumor removed from his right front leg (see picture).
* Among his several nicknames, he is almost always known by everyone who meets him as either "Mr. Happy" or "Mr. Wiggles." Homer, who is one of our two veterans, is dearly loved!
