About the Owner: Virginia's sister, Julia, came to visit her with her pug Chewie and it was love at first sight for Virginia.   That was in 1992 and finally in June 1996 Snubby joined the Flatley household.  In February 1998 while looking for a pug for a friend, Virginia came across a litter of pug puppies and couldn't resist buying a little girl, Phoebe, for herself.  Every Saturday Virginia would take Snubby to the park for Agility classes and Phoebe would tag along and hang out in her x- pen.  A corgi lady kept telling Virginia that she really should consider showing Phoebe as she was definitely show quality.  One Saturday the corgi lady brought Virginia the premium list for the Ventura Shows in July 1998.  Being an ex- horse show exhibitor, she entered all three days.  All three days Phoebe won her 6 to 9 puppy class with the help of Edwin Ragadio giving some quick handling lessons and Blanche Roberts giving some grooming tips.  From that weekend on she was hooked.  Turns out this little bitch was a Blaque line breeding out of CH Blaque Broughcastle Top Gun x Blaque's Little LuLu. The rest is history.

Phoebe aka AM/CAN/MEX CH Kenwood's Little Phoebe was Winsome Pug's foundation bitch and whelped her first litter in September 1999 which produced BISS AM/CAN CH Winsome's Rock N' Rollo.

BISS Am/CAN CH Winsome's Rock N' Rollo was Virginia's first home bred champion and coincidentally the first pug she campaigned finishing 2001 as the Northern California Pug Club #1 Pug in 2001and the Pug Dog Club of America's #7 Pug.  Rollo finished her career winning Best of Opposite Sex at the 2001 Pug Dog Club of America National Specialty.  To date, Rollo has produced 5 champions with an additional 4 major pointed and 2 pointed all out of 3 litters.
