About the Owner: Who would have thought that an innocent visit from my older sister with her little pug Chewie would evolve into such a passionate hobby.  In 1996 I purchased my first pug "Snubby" -- who is our bed partner today -- and then in 1998 I purchased my first show pug Phoebe aka AM/CAN/MEX CH Kenwood's Little Phoebe, my foundation bitch.  I have since bred and/or owned 22 champions, bred 2 All Breed Best in Show Winners, 4 Best in Specialty Show Winners and 6 Group Winners.  From 2000 thru 2007, my pugs have been in the NCPC Top 10 consistently, five of those years holding the #1 Pug ranking.  During the same time period, Winsome pugs have been in the PDCA Top 20 five of the seven years, with two years having multiple pugs in the Top 20.  In addition to conformation, Winsome pugs have multiple obedience/rally titles.  Winsome's Nothin' But Trouble, CDX, RN aka Maggie was PDCA & NCPC Obedience Dog of the Year in 2002, NCPC Obedience Dog of the Year in 2005 and NCPC Rally Dog of the Year in 2006.  In 2002 Maggie won the PDCA Fran Stewart Memorial Trophy for being the highest scoring pug.
