Justin
became an AKC Champion in May 2004. His many
accomplishments include several Best of Breed wins
from the puppy classes, including group placements,
Best Toy Puppy, and a Group One at his hometown dog
show in Napa with his family and many friends there to
cheer him on.

A
stuffed moose called "Cherney Guy".
Justin will actually find him in the house among his
many toys if I tell him to "go get the Cherney
Guy."

Going
on walks, his Grammy and Grampy (aka Keven and Bob),
my sister Connie, going on walks, chewing his bonies,
his new pug girlfriend Quintie, going on walks,
sleeping in on the weekends (or is that one of
Cathie's likes?). Did I mention he likes to go
on walks?

Without
a doubt having his toenails ground, ears cleaned and
face wiped.

companions: |
Just
me and occasionally his new girlfriend Quintie if it's
a dog show weekend. He also goes to my Dad's
house while I'm at work -- they keep each other out of
trouble.

Justin
is named Just 'N Thyme because he came into Cathie's
life "just in time" -- a few months after her
beloved 13-year old Rott/Lab mix, Rocky, was peacefully
put down. Cathie was a novice handler with Justin
as her first puppy, first pug, and first show dog.
He finished in a year in spite of her handling abilities
(or lack thereof). Cathie and Justin are the proud
first recipients of the NCPC Karen Heide-Reed Award for
novice handlers who handle their first show pug to a
championship title. We couldn't have accomplished
that without the ongoing support of Justin's breeders,
Keven and Bob Birdwell, and many wonderful NCPC friends,
especially Joanne and Steve Clark.

Best Puppy and
Toy Group One.

Justin won
Best of Breed and Group One at his hometown dog show in June
2005. What a thrill that was to be in the Best in Show ring with
our family and friends to cheer us on!
