Championship - Americo received his AKC Championship
title with 5 ribbons. He started his show career
on 11-29-06 and received his first 2 points on
11-30-06 for Winner's Dog, 3 points on 3-23-07 for
Best of Winners, 3 points on 4-7-07 for Best of
Winners, 2 points for Best of Winners and a 5 point
major at the City of Angels Pug Club Specialty on
5-24-07 for Best of Winners.
The next day after receiving his championship, Americo
was honored with the only AOM at the age of 1 year and
2 months over ranked specials and handled by his
breeder/owner.
Americo looks forward to going back to the show ring
as a special. He received all his points from
the bred-by class and will be competing at the 2007
Eukanuba Championship show.

I
have been involved with pugs since 1988 when I bought my
first pug from Marianne Stanley of Full Moon Pugs.
I started showing Marianne's pugs, other friends' pugs
and my own pugs ever since. I was very fortunate
to reach everyone's dream of winning Best of Breed at
the PDCA Nationals as breeder/owner/handler in 2001 when
my boy, Ch. Pocket's in the Park -- "Parker"
-- surprised us all with this special win. I'll
never forget you and I'll always love you Parker!
